Product Overview
Part 39903281 has been officially superseded by 47701891001. Both parts share identical mounting dimensions, filtration performance, and service life — they are directly interchangeable with no modification required.
The filter element uses imported wood pulp filter paper / glass fiber composite media (Ahlstrom grade), delivering 5–10 μm filtration with ≥98% efficiency for particles above 5 μm. High dust-holding capacity and low flow resistance protect the compressor rotor while avoiding excess energy consumption.
- Old part number: 39903281

Installation & Maintenance
Replacement Interval
Factory recommendation: 2,000 hours or 1 year, whichever comes first. In dusty environments (e.g., construction sites, dusty workshops), inspect monthly.
Signs Replacement Is Needed
- Inlet restriction indicator enters the yellow zone and remains there after shutdown
- Dust traces visible on the clean side of the filter housing
- Persistent drop in discharge volume with no other cause
Do Not Clean and Reuse
Dry pleated elements cannot be washed or blown clean — this damages the pleat structure and reduces filtration efficiency. Replace with a new element.
Installation Steps
- Shut down and lock out/tag out the compressor; allow the enclosure to cool.
- Open the intake-side enclosure panel and release the filter housing cover.
- Grip the end cap and remove the old element.
- Inspect the housing interior — dust on the clean side indicates a seal failure that must be corrected before installing a new element.
- Wipe the sealing surface, insert the new element (≈199 mm ID aligns with the intake), and avoid over-tightening.
- Reinstall the housing cover and confirm the restriction indicator returns to the clean position.
- Restart the compressor and verify inlet restriction is normal.
